I am on 30 at present and function fine now. The lower dose 15 is more sedating. I'm surprised u have been on 15 for so long. Mostly everyone Starts at 15 then a week later increase to 30. I head really tired at first but ur body adjusts when it gets used to the drug x

I was on 15 for 2 weeks then up to 30. Just into second month of 30. Yes sleep has improved which is why I was changed from citalopram to mirt but my anxiety and depression is awful still. I cant function in the mornings just wanting to hide away in bed. Then I panic all day about things and get nothing done. Little interest in anything or anyone. Just flat and numb. I so want to feel better so I can start looking for work . I fear I'll never get better sad

      hi

its the drugs job to make you feel flat an numb, it evens out the highs and lows, eg, you see people enjoying themselves and its doesnt make sense, one of those end of news stories that are warmhearted,

now you have the drug its time to make some changes, only you know how and only you know whats best for you  , somewere along the lines its easy and common to lose yourself,

im 53 and a different person to what i was when i was 32 or even 16,

We do car boot sales or get rid of junk from our homes, when our pc plays up we delete files and re boot, but we dont with our head or lives, if that makes sence,

i recovered 4 yrs ago, its wasnt the help of my doc or mental heath worker or support worker, and yes i have medical issues,

what i did was i took out anthing that caused me stress, watching tv , eg eastenders, the rowing and animocity isnt good, you woundt put up with people like that in your house so why on tv is it ok,

i mixed with only the people that lifted my spirits, made a point of doing somethig that day that made me smile, moght be food, or maybe a weekly purchase treat, i listend to raidi and soon realised if i listend to 70s music it took me back to how i used ot be, it reminded me of who i was at a happier time, like a pc re boot, its easy to get lost, we all do , avoid any form of stress, bake a cake, go to town to just buy one nice thing, it toom me 6 months in total, its life thats got on top of you, now its your turn to get back to how you used to be,

      warm regards
