Feeling bad at the same times each day

Hello

Just wondering whether any of you notice a pattern to your symptoms?

I’ve noticed I feel really bad around 11am and 6pm.  Do hormones spike and drop throughout the day?

Thank you

Al

My husband has reminded me a few times that I seem worse when it's close to a meal, so maybe it's when blood sugar drops?

      Dear Suzanne

Thank you for your reply.  I gave this a try today and had a snack, as I always do around 10.30am, but again at 11.30am I started feeling horrible again.  I think this is probably a symptom of PMS...lets see what the next few days bring.

Oh to be back in my 20's or 30's again!!!

Wow I'm sure they do fluctuate throughout the day but I've never thought to pay attention to what I'm feeling and when..at least not on a daily basis. I will now...maybe it will help us all. Great thought, al

Hi al, in answer to your question, yes hormones do peak and dip at different times of the day. It doesnt necessarily do it the same time each day but in some women I am sure it does. But is there a pattern. In a way if certain foods or drinks upset the balance then to avoid the pattern avoid any food or drinks that aggrivate it. Hope this helps you. XXX

      Thanks Tina

Yes it thought it could be what I'm eating....or not eating. But on taking a closer look I seem to have a balanced diet. Cut out the couple of cups of tea and one cup of coffee I have each day, to no avail.

Do you eat spicy food or stuff like onions things that can generally cause indigestion? You say you eat a balanced diet but maybe there is just something not quite right. Oh and you dont need to totally give up tea and coffee just caffine so get decaf products and you can still enjoy your daily cuppas! XXX

Not in the morning. Plus it's odd that this has only been happening of late.

Also the best way I can describe the way I feel is 'morning sickness" and that out of sorts/tiredness that you get (or I had) in the first 16 weeks of pregnancy, plus hot flushes. I'm definitely NOT pregnant.

I think being on Cerazette for 6 months, then on to the Mirena (albeit only for two weeks) has really mucked up my hormones....with some peri symptoms to add to the mix!

Morning sickness, yes thats a really good description of it. I had such serious morning sickness when I was pregnant I was very overweight at 18stone + when I fell pregnant and went down to 12 stone when each were born so that is what imbalanced hormones can do for you! Both my sons weighed in at over 8lbs 4oz and were so healthy it made me sick! No seriously I was really happy they were both born so big and healthy. Strangely, 2 1/2 years apart both weighed the same, both measured the same, length and head circumference and both arrived two weeks early by c-section as I could not go into natural labour due to upset hormones so it can even cause that! Hormones are a necessary evil and I do mean evil. Look at what they are doing to us all now and how we are suffering as if giving birth isnt enough! Really hope you feel better soon hun. Try something with ginger in for sickness if you prefer the natural route. Me I get an anti-sickness jab from my dr when nausea gets too much followed up with the same drug in pill form to keep it going. It does help but I find avoiding the triggers are best. I cant stand the smell of eggs cooking for example so I have a plug in air freshener which I turn upto full if anyone needs to cook an egg. Hope this helps you in some way. XXX
