Feeling crazy today

Hey Ladies!
I've been feeling really crazy today. First of all, it's so unbelievably hot here in NYC. The temperature is 97 with a heat index of 104! This heat has really been affecting me. I woke up with heart palps. I felt nauseated, shaky and weird. My stomach got upset. This of course set off my anxiety. My chest was feeling weird. I will be so glad when I can kiss peri goodbye!

So far so good Sue. Stopped with the HRT and no sweats this night.
i don't think I am as bad as I thought I'd be.
Just want to get the hysteroscopy done and deal with whatever is going on.

I'm taking 3 different meds for anxiety. They work pretty good till its time for Morher Nature. Then boom the panic begins. I get nervous in crowds because I'm afraid I'll have a panic attack. So now im socially withdrawn. I hate that I used to be a vibrant person laughing and acting silly all the time, now I'm all grouchy, nervous and hateful.

I know how you feel. I was just thinking about how I was fine one day and then all of a sudden, wham! Just like that I started having all of these crazy symptoms right after I had my daughter three years ago. I want my life back! My kids are still young and I can't even enjoy them like I want to.

I had the same problem with the heat yesterday. We live in Georgia. I tried to mow the front lawn yesterday bc I needed the exercise. Got really overheated and had to come in and lie down. I feel so wimpy. I know I have to learn to be better to myself, I also have a 13yr old. He is the youngest. Don't know how I would handle younger children. God bless you!

Interesting about having kids late. I'm 52 and dealing with a 13 year old boy and a 10 year old boy. They fight too. It's been tough at times, but I'm dealing with it. I didn't get married until later. I spent years working overseas and traveling around the world. It's been almost 8 years of peri for me. Hang in there! We'll get through this!

One last thing I forgot to mention. I had horrible heart palpitations that we're all day long. I was going nuts. No anxiety but just constant skipped beats, pounding hard, etc. I just couldn't take it any more. It's due to the loss of progesterone. I started using some progesterone cream last October and the palpitations stopped immediately. I rub in 20 mgs. nightly. Plus it helps me fall asleep quicker in the middle of the night.

Yes I use the progesterone cream too. I've only been using it since April. Haven't seen any major difference yet. I will keep using it to see if it will eventually kick in. I know I'm estrogen dominant because I get anxiety and other symptoms that are triggered by estrogen. It's horrible!

That's too bad. It just shows us how different we all are. Progesterone worked right away for me. There's also magnesium if you haven't tried that. 400 mgs. a day. Magnesium glycinate or citrate are the better absorbed ones. I'm guessing you're taking that too. I have no anxiety, but I have the achiness going on.

I think the brand of progesterone makes the difference. I ordered a different progesterone cream and put it on today and literally within moments I could feel it working. I need to resume my vitamin regiment I have fallen off the habit but the body lets you know when it's missing or needing something. But thanks for reminding me of the magnesium!

Thats great! You ordered the cream online? Did it require a script?

I just looked that one up and it's USP approved which is good. I wonder if it has 1000 mgs. in the whole bottle of 2 oz? Mine has 20 mgs. in a 1/4 teaspoon which I use every night. Maybe you're noticing a difference in this brand because it is stronger?

I'm not for sure but it looks like the entire bottle is 1000mgs for the 2 oz. If you're considering purchasing you can ask the seller. I didn't check how much or how little mgs the other progesterone cream had. So it must have been too small an amount to do the josb. I do feel a noticeable difference using this new one from Amazon.

That's great! Your body might have needed more to feel normal again. I'm going to keep that one in mind when I run out. Thank you!
