I've had panic disorder for years now, and I've been managing quite well. however I recently decided to go back to school as well as have had my dog pass away. I'm currently under a lot of stress. when I get stressed it tends to come out as a food phobia. I become obsessed thinking my food is poisoned or somehow unsafe. I haven't been able to force myself to eat over 800 calories a day for the past month. I'm 5' 7" and weight 100 pounds currently. I constantly feel weak and light headed and not eatting has made my anxiety worse which in turn is making my food phobia worse. I have been distancing myself from everyone. I'm not sure what I should do. it's definitely affecting both my school and work performance.

is there a counselor you could talk to? IT WOULD help. its not healthy to limit food that much. your body starves for calories, vitamins, minerals, electrolytes. thats why you are weak. your school work will suffer too.
get some guidance and support ! schools have counselors as well as private practices. It will be worth it. take care of your health and make sure you stay hydrated! ❤
