I will be 50 in about three months. I have been dealing with like a spacey lightheadness for about two months now as well as I have only have about two days of spotting during this time . And like my anxiousness have exploded . My doc suggested anti depressants which I really don't want to take . Any advice . Also anyone experience dizziness . I do think my anxiety is bringing that on. Thanks

Hi Tami, unfortunately YES! My two biggest, most uncomfortable symptoms are dizziness and anxiety. I represent high end real estate and these combined symptoms make my day light almost uncontrollable.
My GYN also suggested AD and I tried them for about a week. It put me into a severe depression, so I immediately discontinued.
All I can suggest is exercise and meditation and just tell yourself this too will change as nothing stays the same. It's symptoms as the result of menopause and imbalances hormones. Sooooooo imbalanced your legs are wobbly to the tune of I never thought grocery shopping could be SO challenging!!
Feel better and I'm thinking of you.

Yes I have experienced all that and more! The foggy, forgetfulness, crying jags, sadness, hot flashes, sleepness nights, anxiety through the roof, itchy legs to name a few....lol! I absoulutely refused any anti-deppressants as I just knew it was more than that. I did my homework and found out that all this "crap" is because of the loss of hormones. I am 52 yrs old and currently on Bio-Identical Hormone Replacent Therapy and I cant be more happy. Most of if not all of the symptoms I had are gone completely or greatly reduced! I am finally sleeping through the night! And the hot flashes are completely gone! I am 4 weeks into my therapy and I know it takes time to find MY optimal hormone level as each one of us is very different. Maybe if you look into BIHRT this could benefit you as well! Hope this helps! Believe me you do not have to live with this "crap"!!
