Females in their 20’s!!

Okay so I was told about a year ago that they thought I had LS never had a biopsy to confirm. They didn't do a bx because i was still breastfeeding and they thought it could be from that, and the change in Estrogen levels. Unfortunately that's not the case. So i was wondering what you guys are doing to manage things. Here's some questions I have.

  1. What med were you prescribed, & how were you instructed to use it?
  2. Are you using anything to keep things moist?
  3. What are you using to wash?
  4. Is their anything that you notice causes a flare?
  5. Is their anything else you're using to manage things?

I really Appreciate any input you may have!!

    Hey!

If you're new to LS just follow the treatment that your doctor gave you. Once you are in more control over it consider this:

    To your questions:

What med were you prescribed, & how were you instructed to use it?

Clobetasol and Ovestin. That was years ago so I don't remember. But for the first few month I used them intensely and slowly decreased the number of times I use them a day/week.

Are you using anything to keep things moist?

Coconut oil morning and evening plus everytime after I peed - while I was treating intensely. Now on;y twice a day.

What are you using to wash?

Nothing. Don't wash. That's really bad. You can lightly water it in the shower or after you pee with a bidet.

Is their anything that you notice causes a flare?

    Hormonal changes, weather changes, stress.

Is their anything else you're using to manage things?

Pelvic floor physical therapy, and Traumeel compound - refer to the link 😃
