good luck, as long as you understand the concept of the tablets and stick to the \"rules\" you shouldn't get any side affects.

I didn't start a low fat diet before starting the tablets and went from my normal eating to taking the tablets and changing the diet on the same day. If I had any advise it would be to maybe take a couple of days on a low fat diet before starting the tablets as if like me you could get some side affects from your previous days food intake.

There are lots of foods out that which are low in fat and tasty treats as well it's just getting into the routine of going to where they are in the store rather than where you used to go. Remember anything that has over 5g's of total fat per 100g's is a no no.

Activia yoghurt is a good pudding as it contains NO FAT. Snack a Jacks are good snack as are the Go Aheads bars. dried fruit is also handy to have to snack on and I would recommend getting some dried prunes as the tablets can make you a bit constipated at times especially if like me you don't drink that much water. Green tea, any flavour, is good to have after a meal as is a small apple as these are meant to help break up the fat.

look forward to chatting to you and seeing your progress

ahh just thought of another thing try and eat your last meal no later than 6.30pm to give you body sometime to start it digestion before the body starts to shut down for the night. If you find you don't have time to cook a decent meal and eat by then my nurse did suggest that you precook meals for the next day.

If you feel that you would get hungry before going to bed after eating at that time then nurse said don't have the pudding of Activia no fat yoghurt til a bit later and that should curb any cravings later on
