HI Denise

I know you speak to a lot of people

so not sure if you remember i asked for my assesment report which they refused saying that they had sent form back for more info

i rang again as you advised and used your advice and said you are not allowed to not send me my report before decision unless i live in Northern Ireland.

to cut a long story short i got report today and have added my scores and have 17 for living componant and 22 for mobility so i am prayin and keeping my fingers crossed the decision maker will stick to the assesors scores

i will let you know when i get my decision

thanks again for your advice and support

kind regards

How long you wait for the decision depends whether they are consulting with your gp to request more evidence to be able to reach a decision , or the assessors report may be waiting to be audited (which is happening a lot recently) if you disagree with the decision, you can request an MR, however don't ask for this until a couple of days before the time to appeal runs out, (28 days, although officially you have 1 year if you have good reason) this will give you another 30 days to gather more evidence.. the MR decision is taking up to 8 weeks at present.

There won't be any need for the MR route in this case because Bridgey has been awarded Enhanced rate for both parts.

You're always welcome. I happy you got the right result and back dated to Last year, that's actually rare and doesn't happen very often. Enjoy all that money and treat yourself to something extra special, i know i certainly would.

Yes of course you can direct them here, i'll do my best to advise when i'm around. Going through a difficult time at home myself at the moment but i'll certainly answer when i can. As you most likely already realised, i never usually ignore anyone's posts, even if i can't help them i'll direct them to somewhere that can.

      Take care ! xx
