First outbreak

How long did your first outbreak last and others after that? Still educating myself

    I’m in the process of my first OB and to be honest...it’s been miserable! It started with an anal fissure then turned into blisters. Anal fissures take 3-6 weeks to heal...but I’ve had these blisters for about a week almost. I haven’t had that much pain peeing, but to be honest I would rather take the terrible pee over the extremely miserable poos. So total...symptoms for about 3 weeks... 😢

      I’m so sorry to hear that and three weeks has to be so tough! I do hear the first OB is the worst but after that the seem to be milder and go away sooner ! I wasn’t aware blisters lasted that long ?

    Hopefully they will get shorter with time ! Did your spots ever scabe over and what medication are you taking to help

      Mine didn’t no but I know a lot of people’s do. I took acyclovir during the outbreak. I take l-lysine now but that’s it. And idk if it actually helps or not tbh

      Get better but from the information you have given me.  When an outbreak happens you will definitely know and they last more then a couple days
