I was diagnosed in March 2018, and having spent some time in hospital recently for other issues, my immune system must have dropped and my first outbreak since my initial outbreak has started. no visible sores are present, although the head and foreskin are quite red, raw and itchy to touch. I'm noticing alot of white build up under the head of my penis and under the foreskin too. Is this normal? I thought it was 'dick cheese' which i still dont know it is exactly. It has slowly gotten smaller in amounts since ive upped on the anti viral tablets. What are others experiences with the second outbreak?
thanks,
Ross

The second outbreak is usually not as horrible as the first one especially if you are taking antivirals

sounds like a yeast infection, white build up similar to cottage cheese perhaps and redness and itching are a symptom. Can happen as a result of taking antibiotics. This usually happens as strong antibiotics wipe out the good bacteria, I'm not sure if antivirals have a similar effect?
