Fluox 10th week. Depression cured but gained 10 pounds of weight

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi there,

I am only eating a piece of bread in the morning, a salad for lunch, and a bowl of rice with some meat and veg.

I gained 10 pounds with fluoxentine. How come that increase in serotonin in brain can cause so much in weight gain !

I am gaining fat in every part of my body. My clothes dont fit anymore.

How can I get rid of that 10 pounds ? Will I get back to my old size if I stop taking fluox ?

Feeling frustrated

Peter

Your body may think it's in starvation mode so will be clinging onto all fat from anything you eat.

Try having healthy snacks in between meals to see if that helps

I will be very careful with my diet now . I hope my weight gain can stop.

I will tap down fluox to 20mg every two days to see if my mood and weight can stablize.

      God bless.

Hey all, I skipped fluox for one day. I lost 1 kg . It seems fluox is a direct cause of weight gain.

But I have headache and weakness this morning. I heard water sound when I turn my head sideways . Due to the serotonin in brain ?

I felt a little depressed and dettached. I resume my fluox.
