so i sprained my ankle two weeks ago whilst on holiday in Seoul, i rested it for 2 and a half days using RICE & by the 2nd day was doing mini exercises such as flexing and writing the alphabet.
By day 3 i was walking on it with only a little pain at first (mainly stiffness). I have continued to walk on it since, some days doing well over 15,000 steps.I have continued to do exercises such as strengthening and balancing. I've been wearing icy/hot patches while out walking and have worn a bandage (have recently stopped wearing it). Yesterday I got a flight from Seoul to Tokyo (which was around 2 hours) & my ankle started to hurt while on the flight & began swelling.
Now this worries me slightly as I have a nearly 13 hour flight back from Tokyo next monday. i do have compression socks, which i didnt wear on the 2 hour flight as they were hurting from being too tight. Can someone help me out on what I can do on this long ass flight?
