Food cravings!!!!

this may seem very strange but anyone else experiencing food cravings. You would think I was pregnant. The foods I loved before my op I have not given a 2nd thought. And other foods which I could take or leave I am craving.  Hormones do you think?

    Hi Poppy, both my taste buds and sense of smell were affected post op. I was told this can be the anaesthetic which takes quite some time to go. im sure this is why some foods taste awful and others good. It will normalise eventually.

    Hi lee I've just received my oestrogel but there's no template inside did you have one in yours I've just phoned the surgery and they're going to get the duty doctor to ring

      No there was nothing in mine. 

      I just used it according to what my friend told me 

      I use 1 pump rubbed into my upper arm and shoulder. 

      I was going to ask my doctor last week but she was not my usual one and she was not impressed that I had it. 

      So I am using 1 pump on my arm after my morning shower. And the effects are great.

      I've only just got mine this afternoon as it had to be ordered in and it never arrived on Saturday but the instructions on it says you need to apply it twice the size of the template provided which is not there so I'm going to wait until the duty doctor from the surgery rings but I shall apply it of an evening shortly before bed there's a lot of side effects listed good job I don't worry about things like that

      Yes my chemist had to order it in too 

      mine is a pump action so once you press fully you get one allocation. One seems to be doing the trick at the moment anyway. 

      Let me know what the doc says

      They don't do the template anymore the duty doctor didn't know she had to speak to the pharmacist and he said if I wanted any information he would print it off for me but if I do I can get it off the internet myself  how long before you noticed the difference in yourself

      I started mine last night so hopefully by the end of the week I should notice the difference thanks I'll keep in touch
