Freezing Cold!!!

Anyone freezing cold on HRT? I can't get warm. I rarely sweat. I am thinking if sweating is from lack of estrogen I may be on too much!

Have you had your thyroid checked? Not just TSH but T3, T4 & iodine at least?  Mayb your reproductive hormones are going ok on HRT but you have an underlying thyroid issue that needs tweaking?

Yes me too! Only in the evening but I can cope with that, better than the awful sweats! My HRT work so well I would be worried changing to a different brand.

I too would second the motion of looking at thyroid. Estrogen does interact with thyroid, so this may be the problem.

Let us know what you find out.

I had my thyroid levels checked just a month or so ago and it was fine. I did hear though that too much estrogen can cause hypothyroid symptoms. Not sure but I also have some blood sugar issues too so??? UGHHH. I want to be 30 again! HA

Yes but did they check your thyroid and iodine levels properly? TSH levels are not enough

They checked TSH T3 T4 and sodium but not sure on iodine. Is that different?

Yes iodine is very different and is essential for healthy thyroid function and is a common deficiency....it would be good for you to double check if it was tested
