Frequent genital herpes outbreaks. PLEASE HELP!!!

Posted , 6 users are following.

I found out I had genital herpes Feburary of 2017. Ive tried many different methods to help prevent outbreaks. But I still have outbreaks about 3 to 4 times a month. It almost feels like I constantly have one. Ive been on all 3 different medications Valcyclovir, Acyclovir, and Famivir. I currently take a 450mg tablet of Acyclovir twice a day. Ive tried 3000mg of lysine a day that doesnt help. Ive tried epsom salt baths and tea tree oil on sores and that only gives temporary relief. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be very much appreciated. Thank You!

If you're having 3 to 4 a month that's every week. Maybe you aren't healing. Try some oatmeal bathes. You can buy Aloecaine from Walgreens in the burn section that will help with the pain. I would also suggest looking at your diet. Clean eating will help!

Stress can cause out breaks, I would go back to the doctor in the mean time try not to stress it will bring it on quicker than any thing.

Me too!!!!! Mines nearly every week, heal then an other one comes up! In February this year I didn’t have any for 3 months, now all the time, I tried everything! Proplis tablets, lynsine, Garlic tablet, vitamin C, Zinc, turmeric tablets, coconut oil, tea tree oil and oil of oregano, on and off on antiviral meds, I’m now taking Olive leaf tablets see if it works red up about these, I feel fed up! I must have spent out on so much money :-( Will follow see if any one can help.
