Funny visual disturbances/blurry vision starting citalopram

Hello everyone again! Its so nice to be part of this forum and chat to other people going through similar experiences. I am 1.5 weeks into starting citalopram (20mg) and along with increased anxiety, sweating and insomnia - I am noticing a type of random 'blurriness' to my vision. It's the worst at night when I'm driving, but if I think about it during the day it kind of happens. Its not even that things go BLURRY, I can still see, its just a funny little disturbance - I can't even explain it. Almost like a very light film of Vaseline is over my eyeball! Ha ha. I was told this might happen, and have read online that it is a side effect - but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Thanks so much!! biggrin
