Hi guys, just wanted to let you know I had my gallbladder out yesterday, and that it wasn't so bad! Not much pain at all! My tummy is swollen from the air that was pumped into me. I was a little scared at first but the doctors and nurses made me at ease. The op took about an hour, they didn't tell me anything about the op or the stones/Gallbladder, just that it went well. The key hole cuts are a bit bloody and I can't stand up straight yet but I feel much better already. The chest pain and shoulder pain have gone! Hurray can't wait to be myself again. 😁😁😁

That's great news Sandra! It is such a good feeling isn't it!? Look after yourself over the next days and weeks. I would recommend taking some pain meds, at least for a few days, around the clock. It is going to hurt, particularly sitting up and getting up. Lying on your side may not be possible for a little while. Get as much rest as you can, and walk around a bit as this will help the has to disperse. You will feel tired, so listen to your body and rest when you can. But yes, the relief from those awful painful symptoms is incredible! Take care x
