Gallbladder removal post op

Hi guys

I was just wondering if anyone else suffers from a swollen tummy after their OP? I am 14 days post op and although the wound site in my belly button has healed nicely, i am really bloated and at times look like i'm six months pregnant! It usually occurs later in the day. I have lost my appetite and have to force myself to eat something.

Am i the only one? eek

Thanks

Hi no your not the only one. I have had 8 laproscopies in the past 10 years. I have been the same as you suffering with the bloating and after all my surgeries i lost my appeitite for around 2 weeks just didnt feel like eating at all and felt uncomfortable due to the bloating. Just make sure you are drinking plenty of fluid. If it doesnt settle down i would go back to your doctor and explained the symptoms. Its good the your wounds have healed nicely. Hope you get sorted ☺
