Take it it slow and to things in short bursts and rest sessons in between.
Take today and possibly the next day to rest. Soon you will be in shape to do a all day activisties . After GB removal geting back to the levels of energy post op is like training for a marathon. One step at a time slowly building strength and endurance.
Good Luck

Hi Amanda,
You're still healing. Normal recovery time for gallbladder surgery is five weeks. You shouldn't be lifting anything or doing heavy duty chores, like washing floors, vacuuming, etc. At this time your routine should consist of taking daily walks, getting plenty of rest, and taking care of yourself. Remember, your body is getting used to operating without a gallbladder. It's sore inside, and takes time to heal. Eat well, avoid high fat foods, drink plenty of water, and follow the doctor's instructions. I know you will feel better by the fifth week.

As others have said, it's a bit too soon to be overly exerting yourself. I had mine out 3.5 weeks ago and had the bright idea to start weight lifting this week, which lead to similar symptoms. You should give it 5-6 weeks to recover, before pushing yourself too hard.

Amanda! You've overdone it Lovely! It's still really early days for you. Remember you've had a major operation and it will take a while for you to recover. Hope you feel better soon. Little and often ok. Regards.
