Hi
I had a painful dorsal ganglion removed from my right wrist at the end of October 17, and unfortunately it has come back. I also have one on my left wrist in the same place, but this doesn't cause me as many issues.
I'm now in a position where I don't really know what to do. The pain is significant and makes everyday activities a lot harder, i.e. hoovering, cooking, driving, playing piano etc. I've tried ibuprofen and paracetamol, deep heat, using a splint etc to no avail, and the pain flare ups only seem to be getting worse. I'm only 23 and it is really starting to get me down - has anyone got any advice as to any other ways that might help to alleviate the pain?
I'm going back to my GP for advice, but I feel like it is now going to be a case of pain management rather than tackling the ganglion itself?
Many thanks
Kim
