Getting the hang of it

Hi all
This forum has been so helpful - thanks lol !
This is the end of my first week and I now feel like I understand and know what is going on.
Thanks to the person who suggested the British Heart Foundation leaflet it gives really sound advice on a sensible diet.
In the past I have found it easy to cheat a bit so I am keeping a food diary which is really helping me to monitor exactly what I am eating.
I am sure there will be other slip ups as I go on with this but I am sure there will be more good than bad
Heres to a new slimmer me

Im only on my first day so its gr8 to hear positive experiences!
I also took the advice of getting the book but still waiting for it to arrive.
Any tips on what sort of thing you have been eating?
Im just about to go shopping but feel a little unsure of what to buy!

I am eating fruit & lowfat yog for breakkie - had a few seeds as well today
Vegetable based for lunch - stuffed courgettes for most of last week and I am making courgette soup for lunch for the rest of this week which I will have with wholemeal bread
(I am not a courgette freak but my planta have gone mad and some of them are about to turn into marrows!!)
Then a meat, carb & veg dinner (25%, 25%, 50%)
I sometimes save some of my dinner to have for lunch the next day
Good luck

Just read your last post and I am concerned you aren't eating enough fat :?
The items you listed for your meals don't seem to have much fat at all and the tabs won't work effectively if you don't eat some fat.
Take it easy and try and incorporate some fat into the day.
