Good and bad days?

Officially through with my first week of being on 10mg of cit. I just wanted to know if it was normal to have good and bad days in terms of side effects? Yesterday I was doing okay with being focused and now confused and even managed to sleep for three hours. But today I'm just as out of it and confused and unfocused as ever. Is it normal to go up and down like this?

    Hi Danielle,

This happened to me when a first started citalopram. Started with bad days then would have a couple of good days then eventually there are more good days than bad ☺️ I definitely had good and bad days especially nearer the beginning of the meds x

Definatley will take time with  ups and downs. I'm on week 6 and getting there. Mornings are still the hardest and still little appetite till evening. I can get stuff done now and have a bit more motivation. It is very gradual and I can't say I'm anxiety free yet.  Hang in there and don't expect rapid changes, but you"ll notice gradual improvement. You may feel worse for a bit before everything starts to balance out I've been thru this before so I know the drill... still sucks though..

How are you feeling Danielle? I’m on day 10. I had my first good day yesterday in 4 weeks, it felt great although I know I still wasn’t 💯 myself but almost. Again today I feel a little groggy but I have shoulder pain which kept me awake most of the night. I have definitely seen some small improvements that’s for sure.
