ive only been taking these for 5 days now for depression, but i have had no side effects apart from feeling tired, and they have already made a difference.

Before i would cry non stop and panic about things and get into such a state that i couldn't see the future getting any better and really depress myself more.

Now i don't feel much of that i just feel slightly numb.

I still don't have any happy emotions just yet, but the bad stuffs gone in 5 days, so if it carries on this way the good stuff will all come back soon!

They're like magic!! Im just hopeful for them to bring back the feelings of excitment, love and happiness... now that the, most depressing feelings have more or less gone

I have been on Citalopram for 2 weeks now and have felt better (more positive) than at any time over the past few years. I am only on 10mg but expect my doctor to increase this to 20 when I see him next week. I spent 7 months on a very high dose of fluoxetine which worked for 6 months but then after a very black few weeks I was prescribed mirtazapine, not a good experience. I found Mirtazapine helped me to cope with the severe depression but also removed the highs, although had fewer suicidal days I felt down all the time.

With Citalopram I do at last feel I can beat my depression and that somewhere in the not too distant future I will be me again I hope the same is true for you.
