Posted a few days ago about problems I have been having with my gallbladder area as well as on the left side toward the center of my chest where the stomach and pancreas are located at.
Anyway for about the last 4 to 5 years diagnosed as winged scapula for my right shoulder and over the past few years I have had major flare ups of pain at least once a month on average and it especially hurts almost every time that I lay down on my left side.
So the question is could the pain I have been experiencing for the past few years when I lay down on left side that is under my right shoulder actually be an issue with the gallbladder such as lack of blood flow or the nerves since I am diabetic?

Gall bladder pain is usually on the right side under your rib cage or towards center of abdomen. Usually travels to your upper back or shoulder. I have gallstones, but on a low fat diet which helps. Only thing is I lost weight, which I really can't afford to lose anymore. I am a petite person. I am trying to avoid surgery, since my surgeon feels I don't need it at this point. In your case, go for a cat scan, MRI or ultrasound to see what is causing your pain on left side.

Losing weight from the low fat diet. Was fine before gallstones bothered me. I really don't get bad pain, when I do. Just discomfort. So I stopped having ice cream, milk, anything fatty. I am used to it now, it want to put back a few pounds
