I hope it all goes well. I've got my 1st appt on the 10th and don't know what to expect.
Please keep us informed, I'd like to hear how it goes so it gives me an idea of what to expect.

well done mum2jord and behappy :ok: trust you to worry mum2jord lol  theres nothing to be worried about, i've been loads of times in my *cough, long career as one that's not quite wired up right shall we say lol
there will more than likely be a trickcyclist and a community psychiatric nurse (CPN) there, maybe only the CPN, they'll chat with you about your problems and come up with a written 'plan of attack/treatment' for you, including any support you may need from social services, the CPN usually acts as co-ordinator to make sure the whole thing is integrated and monitor your progress as well as any appointments you have with the trickcyclist, the CPN will supply feed back to the trickcyclist between appointments with him/she :ok:
it's a good idea to keep a daily record of how you feel from day to day untill your appointments, mood changes and the like, also jot down any questions you may have, then you can present your 'log' to them and dont be afraid to ask questions
the MOST important thing is to be totally honest with them, if you've been feeling suicidal, then tell them, if you dont they can't help you fully :? you can't shock them, they've heard it all before many many times :whistle:
the great news is now you will receive the help and support of the SPECIALISTS, GP's only know so much, GP's are 'jack of all trades and master of none'
best of luck and keep us informed :ok:
cheers,
Ken~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ :run: :rainbow: :peace:

I'm having a good day today compared to the last couple of days where I've been mourning over MJ's death. I felt as if the only good part of my childhood that I ever had has been taken away from me.
I'm a bit anxious about appt and will look out for your post on what to expect.
Take care all
