While brushing i felt some pain in my gum below my crowned tooth. The gum line is red. What could be the reason for this?

This has happened to me, and in my case my gums hurt because the crown was too "buried" inside my gums, which caused an infection there.

However, my dentist also told me that if the crown is higher than the other teeth, there can be pressure on the gums as well.

You should consult your dentist to find out for sure and solve the problem.
