Hi All
I have been experiencing rather awful abdominal pain and other symptoms for around 7 months . My GP and Endocrinologist are dismissing it mostly as anxiety. I suffered a breakdown in 2015 so I know this is not my reaction to anxiety, and due to being diabetic, I am very much in tune with my body. I am type 1 Diabetic
As time progresses, I am feeling worse and worse. My stool is pale and bulky, I have excessive thirst, I am experiencing weight loss (approx. 7kg in 2 months) I am light headed and dizzy, almost a feeling like I have been blowing up an air mattress to hard. My muscles feel very weak, and when I exert pressure on them, I am trembling. I am getting joint pain in places. The fatigue is also there. I have never been a great sleeper, but having trouble staying awake during the work day
Mid Feb I was admitted to hospital, seemingly a jacket potato with beans and cheese eaten at 8.30pm induced vomiting and diarrhea by 1.30am
So far, the following has been checked :
- CT Scan of abdomen (all seemed fine)
- Gastroscopy (Negative for H.Pylori)
- CBC
- Three stool tests (nothing found)
- Blood test for nutrient deficiency (all clear)
- Abdominal Ultrasound (all seemed fine)
I know its morbid, but attached is an image of my stool, this is how it looks 99% of the time.
Someone on here has surely experienced the same as me!
Thanks in advance for any response
