Hi,

I'm new here..I'm claiming PIP as I can't work due to my bipolar,I had the ATOS assessment a month ago and a text from DWP a week ago to say they have all they need and are making a decision,I have been beside myself with worry, anybody assure me at all that it won't be much longer?

Thank you

Hi my husband had his first f2f in March 16 then a second on 5Dec 16 and they still can't make a decision on his claim it's terrible really he's got schizophrenia anxiety disorder and split personality all this waiting and different assessments don't help him at all

I've got a support worker dealing with his claim now

Oh no! That's awful, where did he have the assessment? I really hope they get it sorted for you soon

Both assessments was done at home as he doesn't leave the house as advised by someone else I will make a appointment with the local mp tomorrow my husband can't be left on his own at all and it's hard then for me to go out and sort things out they treat people awful it's disgusting

Your right jog1984 it is disgusting, I will be glad when it's all over and done with, it makes you wonder if it's worth bothering but we will see

I wish we never bothered with all the hassle but when I have to pay a private career to come in to sit with him when I go shopping or if I got a hospital appointment for my disabled daughter I just thought the extra money will cover that

Yes I agree, I think the thing is they rely on people giving up even though it is blatantly obvious they qualify! I am prepared to fight if needs be

True enough the support worker is dealing with his now as she had to attend both f2f cause of the risk assessment being high hopefully it will get sorted soon she will be ringing them again tomorrow when they open I'll keep you updated
