Haemorrhoidectomy

I had a haemorrhoidectomy 7 days ago. I just tore every one of my stitches. So now I have a big gaping wound and back to square one in pain. I'm not sure what to do. Everything I've tried to potentially look up says it's a very common thing and it'll heal on its own and Dr's do not put stitches back. I'm almost in regret of having it removed in the 1st place. How am I supposed to keep it clean and not get infected? I now feel like I'm leaking. I'm just scared I'll get an infection because it's impossible to keep sterile. How long will it take to close? Any advice appreciated! Can I still sit in a bath tub? I've been doing that for pain management and the only thing I can actually enjoy right now.

Oh my gosh. I feel so bad for you. I swear I blew like 2 of my stitches out with my first BM but I never bled or saw an open wound.
For cleaning use your shower head. No wiping.
My hemorrhoidectomy was stitched closed and using my sitz tub/bath was OK but my skin tag removal 5 months later which was also stitched closed was a no no for taking baths.
I have no experience with open wound version of this but I've read they take forever to close. Call your surgeon with all questions. Ask if the bath is still ok, ask if keeping triple antibiotic ointment on it is also ok.

It's hard. Use Q-tips. Boiled, and cooled down water. Lie on your tummy. Use triple antibiotic ointment. Blow dry it with cold wind to keep it dry before applying the ointment.
