Biotin can help with hair regrowth if thinning all over. Also silica from holland and barret.
Check your iron levels as anaemia can cause hair loss.
If you think it's male pattern hair loss that may be a hormone issue that your doctor could help with. I'm not sure on that.
Hope you find something to help. It is distressing I know, with everything else we have to deal with.

There's a lot written on this issue of menopause and hair loss/thinning. I wish I could tell you it all goes away, but I have a sister who wears a wig full time. She is so bald.
Many authors say this due to declining estrogen. I have found that progesterone really helps my hair feel and look normal.

tina, this is happening to me too. I was worried about it so I actually went to a dermatologist and she sent me to a dermatologist who specializes in hair loss. After very expensive testing, nothing was found wrong except very low iron. The doctor said my hair loss is due to low iron and perimenopausal hormone fluctuations. She recommended that I go on a birth control pill that I can tolerate and use men's Rogaine once a day. I am hesitant to go on the pill because I had a bad eperience with them years ago, but I am considering it. Rogaine does help while using it.
Something I noticed that makes my hairloss worse is hair color with ammonia. I found a brand (Naturtint) that doesn't use ammonia, that is plant based, at a health food store as well as on Amazon. It's expensive so I use only half usually to just touch up my roots.
