Half infernal 80 mg propanol capsules slow release

does anyone know why these tablets have been withdrawn?  I've been on them for several years, but have now been given "an alternative" .  My headaches have definitely increased since stopping them. Thanks

    Don't know but my neuro prescribed them for me in August but pharmacist said they were discontinued in March so I was given half beta-prograne 80 mgs slow release instead. Unlike you though I have nothing to compare them with. 

    Pharmacist just said the ones I have are the same half inderal was just the brand name.

      Thanks for replying to me Tezes. I don't think mine are slow release, that's the problem, they are tablets rather than capsules.....dark pink that I have to break in half....back to doc I think.

      Yes I agree they don't sound right, mine are capsules, good luck

      Hi Tezas,  went back to doc and he has prescribed the same drug as you are taking, and am feeling much better. Thank you for your advise and help. Hope you are well. X
