Has anyone experienced this? Anxiety

Has anyone ever become over sensitive on a part of their body? Like your constantly aware of that part of your body? I've been like this for weeks, I must have injured myself and did have some mild pain, it had me so worried but it went away fairly quickly. But now I find myself guarding that part of my body, went something touches me off guard there, I jump, I feel like it hurts!! Feel like there's pressure there constantly? However when I apply deliberate pressure nothing, no abnormal pains? Starting to think Am I focusing on it too Much and just become hypersensitive?? Example: I felt this moving burning sensation there and I jumped up begin to panic, turns out it was a droplet of water rolling down my skin!!!!

Anxiety disorders makes you hypersensitive to everything. Everyone with anxiety dosrders are very aware of their bodies.mits like a constatnt body scan. Unfortunately. Thats why they have named it health anxiety. It stinks.

I agree with you 100%. Once we get symptomatic, we become so sensitive and withdrawn to our own selfs.

This is classic anxiety.  We become hypersensative, and body scan for any possible ailment.  Tell yourself it is part of the anxiety, and find ways to refocus on positive things.  If you have to write a list of all the good things you have going in life verses the anxiety.  You will find you have much more going for you than you think.

It's always on the left for me too! It's so frustrating, I'm driving myself crazy!
