6yrs ago I recovered on only 10mg when I had anxiety after having my first child! This time around, I started on 10 and only gave it 6 weeks and changed to 20mg - had terrible side effects that my doctor has put me back down to 10mg. So yes, you can but it takes longer than you think to fully work and even out in your body x

I'm on 9 weeks Celexa 5 MG and Im expecting to recover on that amount so I think yes u can on 10 MG it just takes time
I'm on 5 MG because of the same reason as u sensitive to meds all meds
so they put me on 5 MG plus gave me lorazapam for high anxiety and side effects
so I'm going to finish week 9 Monday
how long have u been on ur meds 10mg if u don't mind me asking

Evening. itll be 6 weeks on Wednesday since I started. So up and down. High anxiety in the morning. Wish I had a magic wand to make me better tomorrow lol

yes, I did and then only was on 5mg as a maintenance dose.
i am too very sensitive to SSRI and standard doses are too high for me.

At least im not the only sensitive soul lol. Apparently 20mg is the starting dose. I couldn't tolerate the side effects of 20mg.

For sure. I am on only 5mg as I really couldnt tolerate 10mg. This dose is perfect and has made a huge difference for me. Im 80% recovered so yes, 10 mg can definately help you.

I just message u and also write to u on here because I am so excited to have found someone besides me that is taking only 5 MG of the Celexa and for the same reason as me being to sencetive on all meds
how long have u been on the 5 MG if u don't mind me asking u
I'm almost crying because I know I'm not alone in the 5 MG anymore
do u mind me asking how long u been on it so far ?
I'm in the beginning of week 10 and still have side effects
do u have them still ? Why are u on Celexa for what if u don't mind ?
Me for anxiety after a lot of stuff I been though for 23 month
please get back with me no one else on here that's on 5 MG and this is helpful to me to know I'm not the only one ☺ was so scared that the 5 MG will not work because I though it's not the right amount like everyone on the blog
they all started on 10 or 20 or even higher
so please be so good and write me back so thankful to have found u on here
