You needI to give the drug time to work about four weeks may get you there.

If you have an appointment in Feb you will know by then if your medication is working. If you are suffering stress Relaxation Techniques may help Mindfulness is a current one in use at this time, it is an inclusive life change Technique so give it a try.Your Specialist may have recordings to help although there are books out there on the subject try Amazon

There is such a thing as pressure headaches from stress, but I would get your sinuses checked as they can cause really bad headaches. Also get your blood pressure checked.

    What borderriever said.

Plus absolutely anything you can think of that relaxes you - do it. Except alcohol. No alcohol smile Chamomile tea, walk in the park, warm bath, massage, rest, light but comforting foods like soups or broths, anything you can think of that will help comfort you now until medication takes hold.

Check your blood pressure and if it is normal, the head pressure is nothing to think about. It is how stress feels when it takes hold.

    Feel better soon!

Well...intracranial pressure would have been clearly presenting by now and you would have neurological symptoms. Brain tumor does not really present as 'pressure' sensation.

Chances are it is a symptom of tension. A medical massage may be able to pinpoint the area that is congested due to muscle spasm.

For example tension migraines tend to be relieved by manipulating a couple of  spots just along the edge of shoulder blades. Once properly addressed you would feel tingling and burning and after 2-3 sessions the pressure should be relieved. The top of the head may require other spots. A trained medical masseuse would know what to work on.
