Headache for 2 years. Tried EVERYTHING

This is going to be a very long forum. I apologize in advanced. My headaches started around 2 years ago. I started to have one a day, then two, then three. I would use over the counter medications to deal with them daily, or have someone rub my head constantly. After a while the medications stopped working, and my headaches got worse and worse. They are now 24/7 constant headaches. The pain never stops. I have lived with an on going headache for at least a year in a half. And nothing helps the pain. The only thing that changes with my headaches is the intensity of the pain. Although I am in pain 24/7, the pain can intensify to where it's throbbing and pounding in my head, making me naseous and not able to function. I had to quit one of my jobs in November and recently had to quit my other job just last week. Now as for what I have tried to fix them. 1st chiropractor: did adjustments on me. No relief. Said one of my legs were longer than the other. Gave me a shoe lift. Doctor: said I might be having rebound headaches from all the over the counter medication. So I went off of all meds for months. Nothing. Physical therapy: mainly did massages and adjustments. No relief. Neurologist: put me on amatryptalyn and venlafaxine. Nothing. 2nd chiropractor: did neck adjustments again. Nothing. I got a CT scan, which showed nothing. Rolfer: said I had tons of built up scar tissue causing main to go through my neck and into my head. He worked on me but no relief. Then we went to the dentist: he said it was from me clenching my teeth at night so he gave me a splint. No relief. Then we went to a spine specialist because I developed tight muscles in my neck and had constant neck pain. Let me add that my headache pressure is mainly at the base of my skull. And occasionally in my temples. The spine doctor said my vertebrae in my neck had been pulled straight when it's supposed to be curved. He said this was due to muscle spasms that pulled it straight. He said the problem now is to figure out what's causing the muscles to spasm. This is where I'm at now. As no one can figure it out. He put me on muscle relaxers which did nothing. Had me start sleeping on my back as I was a stomach sleeper my whole life. And had me buy a new tempurpedic pillow. The only route we haven't tried is allergies/food wise/ or anything in all honesty. I recently went to the hospital and got blood work done because my doctor wanted to see something about auto immune elevations or deficiencies dealing with anti inflammatory stuff. I also spoke with a doctor recently who said I had occipital neuroalgia. And that my scar tissue is pulling on my dural membrane compressing the bones in my skull to compress and be pulled. Basically. I Ive given up. I'm depressed and want it to just end. I'm so hopeless I've never even seen improvement. I'm only 18. And I want my life back. Any advice or suggestions would be so helpful. I don't know what to do.

I'm sorry that you're dealing with this, I know what it's like to deal with a lot of pain, most of mine from having MS. As allergies haven't been ruled out, try taking allergy meds, the ones I find most effective are the kind that are taken a few times a day, rather than once. Make sure that you drink plenty, but not too much water as dehydration is the commonest cause of headaches, for women in particular (too much is bad for people too).

See if you can find relaxation techniques, online, they might help, and certainly won't harm you.

Sorry to hear of your terrible pains.  I think you should have MRI's to rule out CHiari Malfornation, and/or to much brain fluid  and also maybe sinus infections.  A Cat Scan of your face will show the sinus' as well as the MRI but at least you will know if anything else going on. The MRI shows more than a cat scan.  You are awfully young to be going through all of this.  I hope someone can help you.

I seriously feel for u and I am going through the same thing. I have 24/7 headaches and head pressure mostly back left side of my head same general area and it moves to the front by my eyes sometimes. I get left eye pressure some days but my vision is ok, I get facial tingles and sometimes in both of my arms and I just feel off. I have been to my doctor and a neurologist multiple times and they keep telling me it's from my neck. My neck does hurt and is super tight, when I get massages they tell me how tight my neck and back is, I have tried meds, had blood work, nerve block, physical therapy, chiropractor (which I think made it worse) . I used to be a heavy weight lifter and I think over the years I did a lot of damage. I still work out but not heavy. I have just about given up, next step is a Ct scan or something cause I've tried everything else, my neuron was confident it's not a tumor or something serious but I am well over a year now of no relief!
