Headaches and pins and needles in neck-please help

I woke up in August 2013 with a severe headache-like a sharp knife going through the top of my head with pain mainly on the left hand side. Went to the doctor straight away-diagnosed cluster headache and gave me painkillers. Since then I have been back to the doctor on countless occassions(completly loosing faith in him)-have been given more pain killers and anti-depressants(which I took reluctantly as I really don't feel depressed).
Since then I have tried deep tissue massage, other types of massage, accupuncture, chinese herbal remedies, herbal medicines-you name it, i've tried it. I have also had an MRI/MRV scan and a full set of blood tests which came back clear.
I am very worried about the amount of painkillers/tablets I have taken even though none of them took the pain away completely.
I have had this pain almost constantly for over a year now-the only way I can describe it is pain on left side starting at shoulder blade and shooting up left hand side-it feels like the sensation you get after you get bad pins and needles and the blood starts to flow back but it is much more painful than that. I am really worn out with this-the only relief I get is when I lie down-the moment I put my foot to the floor in the morning I can feel it coming back. It is also relieved slightly if I apply a hot water bottle against it.
Any advise most welcome as I am at my wits end!!!

Completely despair with my doctor who is just fobbing me off saying I am stressed and that it relates back to my mother dying 8 years ago!!!! My pain is isolated to the left hand side from my shoulder blade-up the back of my head on left hand side and into the top of my head-I also get pain down my nostril. Really exhausted and frustrated with it.

Could it be a nerve ? your pain.
I hope Doc comes to a conclusion on what it s for your sake.
I have real bad back afer having an SAH/Bleed in brain.
See Doc and tell them pills subdue the pain but the problems still there. Grrr Docs. I don't know.
Wish you well soon
