Headaches - GERD, 23

Hello everyone!

thank you for reading my post.

I was diagnosed with chronic acid reflux, oesophagitis grade 1 LA, and gastritis erythematous. (51kg 170cm active female in early 20s)

I wanted to know whether you suffer from weird forehead/temple/jaw, sometimes one sided headaches after having a fatty meal for instance, or after having any kind of heavy meal.

Why are these caused? If so have you found a way to cure it or temper it down?

Mine have reduced drastically since I've started Protonix 40mg twice a day and Domperidone, however I still have hints of them, and got a pretty big one last night after a burger and a soy milkshake.

I also wanted to ask if it's normal that I'm a month in treatment and have just a slight reduction of symptoms and am nowhere near a cure.

Thank you so much for the help!

Not sure what to tell you about the headaches, and it does take some time for the acid blockers to work, so that may be the case here.  But, once you are on these drugs, you really can't get off them.  It seems to change your digestive process, and the rebound acid once you stop taking them usually ends up bringing you back.  I myself have stopped after working down to 10 mg of omeprazole a day, but am back taking it again, because if I want to eat anything without suffering, I have to take it.
