Heart feels strange

Hi, for the past 2 days my heart has been doing a really big thud randomly, after that happens i get shortness of breathe and a weird feeling goes through me, im scared, i have not eaten really and i dont know if its anxiety but its scaring me, im sat there and then i feel it and.. its awful is it anxiety causing this???

    Hi Sorry your feeling bad.

    I think your first port of call should be your doctor and get checked out.

    If its anxiety they can prescibe meds (if you want to go done that route)

    and therapybiggrin

    This is similar to what i am experiencing sometimes, it is anxiety. Not sure if you are giving all the symptoms but i can surely relate. Try not to think or search a lot about your symptoms because it could lead to more panic attacks of you being scared.

    I have had this with my anxiety often. So much so, that I had a Holter Heart Monitor on for 48 hours to track what was happening. I hit the alarm button each time I felt the thud. Good news to me, you and all who feel those thuds...the monitor showed NO issues with my heart when feeling those. Also, I notice it occurs more after eating or drinking high sugar or carb meals.     It's a heart palpitation.. totally normal.. I get them all the time and apparently it's a very normal thing
