Heart problem

I had Lyme disease for over a year before it was diagnosed and treated. Recently I was told I need to have a pacemaker. I read that "the most common heart complication caused by Lyme disease is disruption of the electrical signals that coordinate the beating of the heart."  Has anyone else developed this problem after being diagnosed with Lyme? Thank you

I dont have the answer to your question but why did it take so long to diagnose and how did they find out?..

They kept running tests and coming up with different answers. Finally they decided I had fluid on the brain and sent me to a neurosurgeon. He said I didn't have that but checked and found I had Lyme disease. Which my primary had tested for and told the neurosurgeon I was being treated for it. I was not and hadn't even been told I had Lyme. I was treated for it then but it has done its damage. I have undergone a lot more tests and just recently the heart problem showed up.
