Oh dear Jasper, you've a lot of  not good sounding symptoms, and if it were me, I'd be knocking on my doc's door - URGENTLY!  Health is wealth you know.  I know you're scared it'll affect your job, but come on, you need your health to be able to do it.  You need to take action NOW I reckon.

Sorry Jasper, I thought you were already a diabetic, and that these symptoms were happening as well.  My own symptoms were that I was VERY tired - got up tired, went to bed tired.  And often had to go to the loo.  I actually went to the doc about something else, and came out with her telling me I had type 2 diabetes.  I wasn't thirsty at all, but she then said that was because I hadn't yet reached the thirsty stage.  I think you're doing the right thing seeing your doc, but whether you are a diabetic I don't know, but you're definitely doing the right thing by seeing your doc,  as he or she will do a glucose test, plus blood test and then you'll know as you get the result straight away if you have diabetes.  Best of luck and try not to stress, as that just makes you feel worse.

You are getting good advice. Seeking help from others is fine but when it comes to the symtoms that you have described, your doctor should be advised. Even if I told you that the same things have happened to me, it does not mean that you have what I have.

Make sure your doctor checks your sugar levels and your thyroid.

    Good luck!

Jasper, I really think that you should see a doctor as soon as possible. With symptoms like these it is difficult for those of us with diabetes to give you a diagnosis even if that is the problem. Some of the symptoms do sound as if it could be, as you suspect, diabetes  but there are others that I haven't experienced. Please, bite the bullet and see your doctor - once you have a diagnosis, life will be immeasurably better because you can start to take control.
