Hi, I’ve been having an itch problem that began in October if I’m not mistaken that then evolved to more of an irritation problem in recent times. In the picture there are blisters very very tiny blisters that the camera could not pick up but my labia minora is usually irritated and itches only when I’m bathing and washing the area. I don’t use soap on my vagina and I’ve changed soaps and underwear since the problem occurred. When I googled the closest thing I could relate to was vulvovaginitis but I’m not sure if that is it. Can anyone help me out here?

the most common cause of vulvovaginitis is a yeast infection but that usually causes a thick white discharge. It doesnt usually cause blisters. A bacterial infection would cause a greyish white discharge with a foul fishy smell, but again notnormally blisters. Have you had unprotected sex? You should perhaps get checked for STIs.

i took a pap smear and they said there was no signs of infection or overgrowth of yeast but i will get tested specifically for STIs and see what shows up.
