HELP! Herpes?

Posted , 3 users are following.

About a day ago i noticed this and im going crazy trying to figure out if its really herpes!!!! I have an appointment tomorrow but I know itll be a few more days before anything is confirmed. What im really wondering is if anyone experienced something similar? if so what was your outcome im trying not to think the worst but its really hard not. Ive been with the same partner for years & we never use protection, never had this problem but it seems they stepped out maybe 10 months or so ago yet they have NO symptoms.

Did you find out if it was? After having the same outbreak twice after the original posting I got a blood test which was positive for HSV 2 ..... Some people never have symptoms but can still pass the virus or you can have the virus for a while and develop symptoms later on in life. Its never any way of knowing how long you've had it being that Herpes testing isnt routine with the normal STD panel so most ppl never test for it unless having symptoms or suspecting to come in contact
