Help I've had a head ache 1 month straight

Ok so hi I'm Allison I'm 13. I've been having such a horrible head ache for 1 month straight. I've been in the hospital and got an MRI and cat scan, it came out clear. I've been suffering from these head aches ever since I've had a concussion 1 year ago. I haven't been able to sleep much and I keep being woken up with these head aches. Along with that I have sharp stomach pains. I've been missing school for 1 month. I can't focus at all. So far they've have me propanol , muscle relaxer , tension head ache, cyclobenzaprine, and amitripryline. None of these medicines have worked or even have me a relief. My mom got me an appointment next week for a neurologist. But now my mom and doctor think something's wrong with my stomach causing thse head aches too. I went back to school today for only 1/2 the day. When my mom picked me up everything was spinning and I felt extremely nauseous and my mom said I've been looking pail. Can you give me any suggestions? I'm stuck. And I'm in a lot of pain. Any feedback will be much appreciated.

Hi Allison, sorry you are in so much pain

I would speak to your neurologist and Dr about stomach migraines. As odd as it sounds. My son began getting awful migraines aged 13 and it coincided with terrible stomach upsets and pain.

Its often something that affects teenagers.

My sons ended up causing his spleen to swell and that in turn caused him to have constant tonsillitis. I forget the link between spleen and tonsils.

But yes, look up stomach migraines and see if it applys to you xx

As Sarah said Allison my daughter also got bad heads when she reached 13 and was sick at school.  It could be your age.

     I wish you well.

Now get off computer it doesn't help bad heads.

    Good luck at Docs/Hospital x

My constant headaches were due to vitamin b12 deficiency. Low iron can cause headaches too. My 14 yr old daughter suffers abdominal migraines but since starting prescribed iron they have ceased. Her ferritin (iron store) was low.
