Help is this herpes??

i get this red sore in the same place every month. is this herpes or something else been going on for a year but never get chance for a doctors appointment because clears up before can get booked in. if its not what else can if be? and how can i stop this happening every month its draining .

    It is best to get it checked by a doctor. If you are suspecting herpes you do not need to wait for a swap test if it is been on going for a year. You can request an IGG blood test for HSV1 and 2 .

    It doesn't look like herpes and just getting it once a month in the same spot is weird for a herpes outbreak. It might be good to track when it happens every month and track what is going on during that time. Do you have pictures from previous months?

      yeah it might not be exactly same spot but it is around that area. only other pic is this one image

      it does itch but assume that was because its sore skin 😦 its always around my period thought it was my tampons irritating the skin.

      hey , deffo looks like an outbreak , periods are known to trigger out breaks and thats what triggered mine . be best to get treatment asap, dont wanna be going through that horrendous pain another time round x

      I don't think it looks like a outbreak. Maybe go to a clinic when it happens and get swabbed instead of waiting for your gp.

      what sort of treatment is there? if my period is gonna cause this every month what can be done thought there was no cure or medication that would help x

      look at the cluster of blisters forming on the left side (her left)of the perineum , they are very much developing xxx

      get on some antivirals to help clear up what youve got going on atm, ive started looking into vitamins that loads of ppl have reccomened eg L-lysine natural way to try and prevent an outbreak x
