I was being treated for BV and used 7 days of flagyl towards the end of the 7 days I started to become a little sore down there and used a new soap to wash myself which immediately caused burning. the burning went away the next day and when i had showered and shaved that night i used that same soap again and the burning got much worse. I assumed i had a yeast infection from the BV but 3 days after the initial burning i went to canp for the weekend (no access to a shower) and went on an 8 hour hike (in a thong with very uncomfortable jean shorts) so i had to sit in my sweat that entire day. that night when we returned from the hike i noticed some inflamation when i went to wipe after peeing but it was bearable. had sex that night and due to the inflammation and soreness was very dry and could feel tearing. after this went to pee and when i wiped again felt the same burning when touching the entrance of my vagina.

i have now been on medication for BV, two doses of medication for yeast infection (which did help a little) and now after visiting a sexual health clinic was given antiviral for herpes "just in case" although the doctor said it doesn't look like classic herpes.

not sure how to dry out this sores and get rid of them as soon as possible while i wait for a result on if its a yeast infection or HV and at this point peeing and walking is painful die to the sores!

do you know of any ways to speed the drying out process? ive seen cornstarch in some forums and ive seen hydrogen peroxide as well but then some people have also spoken against both..

also ive taken a closer look at the actual inside of my vagina and there are tiny white dots all over. similar to what i just saw when i looked up thrush.. no change in discharge odour, only colour it is now more white than clear.
