Help Please! Do I have herpes?

Hello everyone, I am currently desperate for answers. So I recently traveled out of the country with my husband, when I came back home to the US i noticed at first one small bump on the side of my thigh near my vag, looked like a razor bump. Not itchy red nor anything like that. Then a few days late i noticed a similar bump on my face on my temple. Days go by and then I see the bump on my vag has clear liquid and the one on my face became an ulcer/canker sore. I thought well thats nothing. Then things got worse the one on my vag not only looks like an ulcer but i got 3 more and same thing with the one on my face. it scabbed over and looks disgusting. I went to the er and they looked at my vagina and said i have herpes... im paranoid. They didnt run no kinds of test just told me ill be okay that i have herpes. HOOOWWW? My husband and i have gotten tested and never had this issue... we are both monogomus. and ive never had symtoms nor anything like that. How did it get to my face? how do they know with out testing? cant it be the beach water or some kind on infection ? help please....

    You shld do a PCR dna test now before your lesions will heal. if u hv hsv 2 u need medication asap.

      having herpes it does not mean that one of you cheated. it means u might have had the virus sleeping in your body for years. it might have happened before you even met your husband. or your husband was a carrier before he met you.he might get tested and still come negative. or maybe you had i, you were tested and still come out negative. now that you might have an outbreak u can check if u hv hsv 2 or 1.

      Yes i know! i have been looking up information like crazy on herpes. I am paranoid... But for some reason i still dont believe thats what it is even though i cant find anything online about what it could be.

    Oh my gosh that looks so painful! I don't want to give you false hope, but to me that doesn't look like herpes. Go to another doctor while you have the sores and get them swabbed. That is the most accurate way to test for herpes. If you do have herpes, the test will determine which type which is helpful to know when looking at future outbreaks and treatment plans. Especially with travelling outside of the US I'd for sure go back and get another opinion and tests done. Good luck. I hope it's not herpes or anything else serious!

    You poor baby! I know how painful those are how bad they itch, get on your last nerve!! Somebody would have had to go through a lot of trouble to give that to you without being a sexual partner. If you have even touched one or the other places you need to transfer it. Herpes is no freaking joke and nothing to play with. One of your pictures looks like it's dry and cracking what is that? If you pop those pimples girlfriend you are going to be sorry because that is the beastly virus. You need some cream called zovirax cream and some zovirax or Valtrex antibiotic I believe it's an antibiotic.. This will be one of the worst breakouts I'm just being honest I swear. Remember do not stress out about this think of it as a medical condition that must be dealt with promptly patiently thoroughly. My motto always was it's a fever blister emphasis on the fever. Take aspirin or some sort of fever reducer 3 times a day you may have to eat with it. Stay calm you've got that already stay cool staying cool tight clothing stay inside instead of outside if it's hot weather stay clean keep your private areas clean In Your Face lyrics clean keep your hands off of your self and less you are wearing gloves. And stay dry period was just contributes to it. Cool clean dry stress-free no binding clothing. I told my friend wants if you have to lay underneath the ceiling fan after your back with your legs just do it because it's worth it the cooler you can get down there the better and on the other thing did you pick up the other wound. Especially do not touch your eyes or a baby or anything that you would not want to jeopardize their life. This is a highly contagious blisters of hell disease. The great news is once you get the hang of things on how to treat it you will be at peace you will be educated and be able to have the tools to make it all come together so it's not bad on you. And the longer you have it the less outbreaks. I'm so sorry this has happened a lot of times this stuff lays dormant in your blood. You may have had a partner or not that had it weather lying dormant in his blood or not. Or possibly your partner has heads sexual relations prior to you? My guess is as good as yours because you know your life 10 if you need any help I'm glad to help you I've had herpes 4 35 years and about every six years I have an outbreak. Always have a bottle of Valtrex handy good luck honey

      So you really think this is herpes!? Omg noooo. How I mean it makes no sense. I have no health insurance! How am k going to go through this. Why is it on my face? Uhg 😖😢

      Hi it's me again. I'm not sure about the one on the face and they said but I do know is transferable very easily. You ever have any other acne? Do you work outside a lot seems like that has been going on for a while and when you're sweaty stuff like that you can't keep it clean you can control this as best you can but like I said before that one on your temples and I agree with Felis, I know and it really didn't look like herpes. So the doctors told you they thought it was herpes? When is your test results Come Back Inn? You know the biopsies hurt ouch good so you're worried about insurance on what to do right worried about insurance and what to do about keeping yourself healthy? I don't know your situation is there not a free clinic anywhere where you're at? Hospitals are not supposed to take you or keep you from seeing the doctor in the ER so you can definitely see them. I hope you get to the bottom of this do not pick either one of those please as hard as it is

      I don't usually come off so strong about it but with the pictures I couldn't help this time didn't want you to second-guess what the doctors had said. Or didthe doctors already tell you? I want to make sure I'm talking to the right person. I have no idea what it could be if it wasn't but I think it is. But if you are in the United States you should be able to get help I'll go to the ER they will give you something trust me. You just need to get there don't worry about that medical bill try to find the hospital this government funded let me know what your situation is but that's none of my business it's just you might be too busy to get to the hospital.

    Firstly, they cannot say this is herpes for sure without testing. Visual diagnoses are prone to error and herpes is not always an easy one to diagnose by appearance alone. Pcr swab tests are the most accurate by far, so if you want to know if it's herpes or not, get it pcr swabbed asap.

    Secondly, it is unlikely the ones on your temple are herpes. HSV-2 rarely infects anywhere else besides the genitals, and HSV-1 you'd expect on or nearer the mouth. Do you or your husband get cold sores, out of interest? The ones on your inner thighs are potentially more suspect, but if they occurred around the same time as the face ones and have not ulcerated, perhaps it's something else.

      Same thing I said! From the research online I did not think it could transfer especially to such an odd area. The one on my face keeps getting blisters and growing but then they scan over. The one on my vag area seems to just become an ulcer and dries out to a flat white circle. They don't hurt. And I don't have smelly discharge or anything like that.

      And no my husband doesn't have any of that. Nor cold sores etc

    hey jeyy.. sorry that you are going through this .. it makes no type of sense . especially since they just threw that bomb at you as if it wasnt anything ..

    what does your husband say ? 

    if it is herpes he should defintely get tested .. 

    it seriously doesnt look like herpes from what i can tell in the picture .. but looks can be oh so deceiving .. 

    how are you feeling ? did they give you your results back ?

      Hey, well my husband got tested and its negative. I'm still waiting on results. They said it takes 6 days! I don't know why, this can get worse im 6 days. I don't know what this could be, how did it end up on my face.

      Well that's a good sign butt did you not get yours tested too? Your blood right? But your face that could very well just be nerves.

      but what did it look like when it first started out???

      Was it the very same thing that appeared on your thigh??? How many days apart did they show up or do they show up together? Do you touch your face very often with your hands four fingers. Do you pick your blemishes if you have any bacteria can get underneath the skin through your fingernails and you can also pick up a pimple with a dirty finger in this stuff like this but not on your other things I don't know. I remember correctly it look like it. Let me go back and review the pictures please one moment
