Hello Everyone

I have been offering suggestions and comments on this site for a while now, but this time I am in need of help!

January 13 I had my second hemroidctomy surgery, and things where a bit easier this time but I have PAIN nothing like the first time.

  1. during a BM I feel burning and stinging feeling inside my bum, in the cheek of my ass, and into my leg. even after a painful bowel movement I can feel this pain for hours. Numbing agent doesnt help, getting urine on it burns to high heaven.
  2. I look at my bum via camera and I have noticed an opening in my anus like a cut or skin ripped apart. I would like to share my photo but nervous to do so.
  3. also having a lot more pain in my lower back and bum area after all bowel movements
  4. Leaking after a bowl movement and odor

    sounds like a fissure

Yes very common with hemorrhoids. Gotta really be careful about keeping it soft! water, fiber and stool softener. a Fissure is caused (usually) by straining or a larger hark bowl movement. very easy to rip the area, especially wiping to hard. (i only use Dude Wipes) Anyone can use them) but there chemical free and are just great. So back to the fissure...they are very painful, last a long time, and reoccurrence are high. Gotta keep it soft,no strain, lots of water and lots of Fiber

    Hi meaghan43977

itll be 2 weeks tomorrow since i went through 2nd surgery and am in the same boat but wouldnt say its a fissure for me i think its just early days and i still need time but im finding sodacream is helping in some way. ive been adding it before and after a bowel movement. otherwise ive been told lidocaine 5% or more (numbs a specific area /local anesthetic) now in the UK 1. not sure what and if it can be bought over the counter 2. if it can be bought over the counter what the max strength would be 3. youll need something more than 5% for you to notice its numb and thatll help but problem is you need to "fix" the problem and if it is a fissure then keeping that area clean like no tomorrow as well as soft bowels....you no the drill bless. here if you just want a chat x
