Because of the symptoms I would suggest a trip to doc just for checkup. Can send you to nose- throat specialist.

I know when I cry I do have to clear my throat a lot,its probably due to the salty tears.

    Hope you feel better soon.☺

How much water do you drink in the day? I'm sure you've noticed that your anxiety has sometimes completely drained all your energy, the crying too? I dehydrate really fast because of my anxiety. Sweating, crying, spitting a lot, clearing a runny nose, these are all things that can lead to dehydration...especially when they are directly corrolated to when you are feeling anxious. It could maybe be a medication you're on too? Have you tried focusing on your breathing? Just some random suggestions.

Anxiety and stress can cause allergies to worsen and it also causes phlegm production to increase. This could be why your post nasal or allergies are getting worse. The bad taste is probably just the post nasal. I get it too! One of the reason I feel like l can't breathe actually. Take some Claritin. It helps! Maybe you have asthma or acid reflux as well? I know I do.
