Hi all
I really just need some advice
For the past 5 months I just haven't felt myself and the last few weeks it's got 100x worse I don't know what to do anymore my symptoms are
* tiredness
* lack of appetite
*fuzzy head and eyes (can't concentrate).
*jelly legs like they are going to give way
* in some situations shaking and trembling body
* can't relax
* feel like I'm not there even when there are lots of people around
I just don't know what to do anymore these feelings are pretty much all the time and I have my first therapy session this week
Does any one else have similar symptoms ?
I just feel like giving up most of the time and struggle to get through each day
Thanks you to anyone who replies

Hello Jode2233,
You've named a great deal of common anxiety symptoms, it can feel a struggle and I can't believe it's been three years for me, but believe it or not anxiety won't hurt you and each day will come.
Best of luck

Thanks for your reply
How did you get through it ? Did you ever feel like you weren't there even tho you was ? I feel so spaced out all the time like there's a tightness in my head and I can't think straight. It's like I'm watching the world go by and I'm not there even tho my body is . I work full time and am struggling to get through each day
Thanks in advance

Hey Jode ,
I have the same symptoms as you , it just feels like I'm dying and just like a zombie , I feel like I'll have a seizure or just die , I hate it so much , I also have a lot of issue with thinking I'm going insane

I have had anxiety on and off for most of my life, sometimes its harder to cope than others, but I do agree with drWaz, if you acknowledge, accept and befriend these feelings, they do seem to be less intense, and will often disappear all together.
I think the reason being is, the more we fixate on our pains and symptoms the worse they appear to be, probably because they are always in the for front of our mind. Example, say you cut your leg, you check it, clean it, make sure its ok, then you ignore it, even if it stings now and again, and amazingly it gets better all on its own sometimes without you even realising it was better.
If you had decided to pick at the wound, mess about with it, then it would get worse, maybe spread, cause other pains. Get the picture.
So that said, try to get on with your life, try not to fixate on your problems, good you have a therapy session coming up, that will help, I am also a great believer that most anxiety starts from a trigger, one or more, eg loss of a loved one, break down of a relationship, money, health, exam, or a hundred other things, I feel if you can identify what and why this began in the first place, and then deal with the problem head on, no matter hoe difficult or painful, then your anxiety along with all the symptoms will subside.
Look within yourself, discover even the smallest of worries, and deal with them.
That said, other things you can do, include deep breathing, tapping, meditation, massage, walking, excercise, laughing, going out with friends,
And try to stop worrying, it wont fix anything, all it will do is ruin your day.
