help with sertraline

Hi all

im suppose to start sertraline today 50mg im just wondering about the side effects,im just finished escilatropram 20mg.

im going away sun till weds and dont want my tril spoiling how quick do the side effects kick in pls?

    hello, i wouldnt have thought your starting side effects from sertraline will be too troublesome or last long, because you have previously already gotten used to taking escitalopram 20mg (i'm the same as you, i switched from escitalopram 20mg to 50mg sertraline, and then a week after, i increased to 100mg sertraline).  the only new side effect i got was a bit of an upset stomach for the first few days of taking sertraline. it probably helps to take sertraline (at least at first) with some food, eg. a banana

    50mg is the stater it makes you really ill for a month but once you get passed it you either need 100mg or can stick the 50mg

      Ive already been on antidepressents b4 just changing so hopefully not too many side effects im not a brand new starter.
